Gouron open-air eco-museum is located in territory of the Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark as a wellknow cultural GeoSite and touristic attraction since 2008. By a grassroot project in 2018 young carpenters and local guides strive to revitalize their ancestors' shipbuilding and sailing legacy by creating this great museum, in response to the fading historical art and engineering skills.
